Allow your cardholders the convenience of choosing their own PINs without compromising security.  CO‑OP supports member PIN selection after the card is issued.  The offset for the new PIN is stored on the cardholder file and validation is done using the most current offset instead of the one encoded on the card’s magnetic strip.

PIN selection and changes can be completed using an ATM for on-us transactions, that is, the cardholder is at the credit union’s ATM and the ATM is driven by CO‑OP.

If your credit union orders cards through CO‑OP, PIN selection and changes can be completed using a Voice Response Unit (VRU). Cardholders are required to supply specific account information to ensure their identity.
